Hi Peter,

You can certainly look at the testserver. That is the default
installation. Venus should start with something like:

     Coda Venus, version 5.3.19

     Date: Fri 10/11/2002

     16:28:08 /usr/coda/LOG size is 2611887 bytes
     16:28:08 /usr/coda/DATA size is 10447548 bytes
     16:28:08 Initializing RVM data...
     16:28:08 ...done
     16:28:08 Loading RVM data
     16:28:08 starting VDB scan
     16:28:08 1 volume replicas
     16:28:08 0 replicated volumes
     16:28:08 0 CML entries allocated
     16:28:08 0 CML entries on free-list
     16:28:08 starting FSDB scan (4166, 100000) (25, 75, 4)
16:28:08 0 cache files in table (0 blocks)
     16:28:08 4166 cache files on free-list
     16:28:09 starting HDB scan
16:28:09 0 hdb entries in table
     16:28:09 0 hdb entries on free-list
     16:28:09 Initial LRDB allocation
     16:28:09 Getting Root Volume information...
     16:28:25 Venus starting...

If you don't see that last line "venus starting...", you won't
find the coda drive mapping.

For long term use, you should set up a coda server group of your
own. Coda servers will run on Cygwin on Windows, but there is
not a current binary release. You would need to recompile the
server from source code.

I hope this helps.
